DR Reform

It is crucial to the success of DR Reform that SFCRG members are heard by the Land Use Committee.

THURSDAY, MARCH 8, 2010, at 1:00pm in City Hall, Room 263

The Planning Department will present its Discretionary Review (DR) Reform Legislation at the Board of Supervisor's Land Use Committee hearing for probably the last time on Thursday, March 8, 2010, at 1:00pm in City Hall, Room 263. This legislation will impact development projects in this City.

The Land Use Committee (consisting of Supervisors Maxwell, Mar, and President Chiu) will hear public testimony, consider the item, and decide whether to forward the DR Reform legislation onto the full Board with or without recommendation. When the legislation is before the full Board, public comment will likely not be part of the deliberations. Success at the Land Use Committee hearing is a crucial step toward reforming Discretionary Review.

Please email your support for DR Reform to each of these supervisors on the Land Use Committee AND copy Elizabeth Watty at the Planning Department.

The Land Use Committee needs to hear from homeowners more than architects and developers.
