Valentine’s Day 2009 SFCRG members hand delivered 1,000 single-stemmed roses to each resident of the Laguna Honda Hospital a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center owned and operated by the San Francisco Department of Public Health.
November 2008 SFCRG members were been honored by the Mission Language and Vocational School (MLVS) for their contributions. MLVS is a not4profit community-based education center for those who are San Francisco residents, 16 years of age or older, unemployed or under-employed, low-income, and one of the following: United States citizen, permanent resident, or work permit from the Immigration Department.
